My Sedona Wedding Inspiration Board

Colors and Flowers

Our inspiration for color? My husband, Chris, loves light blue. I love red and colorful drama. I wanted to dd a touch of blue to a bold bouquet with a mix of flowers. I love peonies and poppies. I made the following mood board to give our florist an idea of what we wanted for our flowers.

More Flower Inspo

Groom Suit Inspiration

Chris wanted to wear a blue suit with a tie. Spoiler: He didn’t wear blue, but I still love these suits! We loved the vest, boutonniere and tan / brown shoes.

Bride Inspiration

I wanted to wear a long-sleeved lace dress with flowers in my hair and natural makeup with a little shimmer.

Our Wedding Setting

We could have gone anywhere. But, we met in Arizona and have enjoyed our time in Sedona. So, we decided to get married there. What we wanted was the stunning views, red rock, the magics of Sedona.

On Our Elopement Wishlist? Adventure

Hiking, dancing, picnicking, kissing, celebrating, maybe a jeep?

Engagement Photos

We wanted to do something more industrial for our engagement photos since the wedding would be in nature. Why not shoot in downtown Phoenix?

Wedding Mood Board

This little wedding “mood board” was our wedding team’s visual inspiration. It was fun curating the ideas and seeing them all together. Looking back at it now, I can see how much of our original inspo was actually used in our photos, flowers, hair, makeup, and overall experience. How cool!

I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome of our wedding. The location. The flowers. The photos. The video. Wow. Wow. Wow.

To love is a blessing.
